    GREAT Rod

Coral Lukies (Kia Toa) is getting a taste for winning BHB Centre Singles events after winning the First Year Singles last year - and then today, following up by winning the Junior (1-5 years) event at Havelock North.Lukies raced away to a 9-1 lead and her opponent Linda Francis (a third year bowler from Havelock North) was always playing 'catch-up' in this game, even though she came back strongly to eventually lose 16-21.

The event was played in warm conditions with a slight wind at times which was a challenging factor.
